Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE)
B-BBEE is a key strategic driver and objective for the Intuate Group of companies. We visibly demonstrate our responsibility by supporting social and enterprise development initiatives. These programmes include Thandanani, an orphanage that provides hope to abandoned and neglected children, as well as assisting small, black-owned businesses during their start-up phase and also mentoring entrepreneurs to foster their ongoing development.
We procure from an appropriate base of suppliers from previously disadvantaged communities and black-owned enterprises. Furthermore, we have established an internal skills development programme that includes mentorship, training and relevant certifications.
We are 51% black owned and hold Level 2 B-BBEE certificates.
